Dear Parents and Friends,

We very much look forward to seeing you all back in school on November 2nd. For some children, there will be a change of gate and/or time, so please do check the new drop-off and collection guide at the top of this page.

Thank you so much for your wonderful support and co-operation in dropping off and collecting your children at staggered entry and exit times. We appreciate the challenges of using four gates and three different timeslots, and are full of gratitude at your promptness and willingness to be flexible. We would also like to thank you for wearing a face covering at these times.

As you will be aware, infection rates in Tower Hamlets have undergone a steep rise and, as a result, we have received updated guidance from the Director of Public Health at Tower Hamlets. In accordance with this, please do not send your child into school if they, or any member of your family, has a temperature or a dry cough. Should this be the case, the household should immediately self-isolate and you should book a Covid-19 test for the member or members of the family displaying symptoms and follow the guidance provided HERE. Should the situation result in a local or national lockdown, packs of work will be sent home and teaching resources will be provided on Google Classroom, the link for which is at the top of the page. In this circumstance, we expect all children to participate in remote learning.

Please be assured that we are following the strictest regime for infection control and site safety including social distancing, respiratory hygiene and regular hand-washing with the school cleaned thoroughly three times a day. We are also keeping every class completely separate from all the other classes at all times of the day. These measures minimise infection risk and help to ensure the safety of your children and the whole school community. Our latest risk assessment can be found HERE.

Thank you, as always, for your continuing support and cooperation during these challenging times.

With very best wishes,

Avril, Staff and Governors.
